Canva Image Resolution for Printing

Canva image resolution can be good enough for print when the design size, export settings, and placed images all match the final product. The risk is that one low-resolution photo or logo can make the whole file hard to print cleanly.

What goes wrong

Customers often export a PDF or PNG and assume the file is print ready. The export can preserve the page size while the images inside the design remain too small.

What to ask customers

Ask for the intended finished size, whether bleed is required, and whether the design contains logos, screenshots, QR codes, or small text that must stay sharp.

How to screen the file

Check placed images and raster exports against the final print size. For PDF jobs, also check bleed, color mode, fonts, and page size.
